It is the next course after Open Water and to be able to do it we will have to have completed the previous one, have done a certain number of dives and have taken some specialty courses.

What we will learn in the Advanced Open Water is more technique and more concepts that will allow us to improve both our understanding of diving and our practice, since we perfect everything we did until now.

In addition, the Advanced course will increase our depth limit to 30 meters and we will be able to access other specializations such as deep diving.

Two dives are required during the course: navigation diving and deep diving at 30 meters/100 feet, then you can choose three more specialties, for a total of five dives.

During the dive you will learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper diving. Underwater sailing adventure immersion strengthens your navigation skills, helps you navigate better using kick cycles, visual landmarks and timing.

The other knowledge and skills they gain vary depending on your interest and the adventures you have: cave diving, buoyancy control, fish identification, shipwreck exploration, and many more.
